Unique activities available at Lakeview Ranch contributing directly to our "Quality Of Life" commitment:
Nature Center Activities: resident appropriate interaction with varied miniature animals-horses, donkeys, goats and pigs, etc. Peaceful walks in secure, safe, groomed wooded area. Individual resident outdoor flower and vegetable gardens.
Lake activities: leisure pontoon boat rides, fishing, picnic socials, at lake Gazebo
Indoor Solarium Activities: winter gardening-care of solarium plants and flowers, music events, crafts, wildlife watching-deer, geese, pheasants, etc. at our wildlife ponds. Bird watching-indoor aviary and outdoor bird feeders. Peaceful socializing with other residents, friends, and family
Special outings, include-strawberry picking, apple picking, parades, dinners, fairs, Dairy Queen trips, music in the park, etc
Exercise and Dementia Specific activities designed to meet the individual resident's needs and abilities, bolstering self esteem, provided on daily basis. Music, sing a longs & dancing are part of our weekly schedule.
Weekly church services, bible readings and visits by area clergy are regular part of the activity.
