UNIQUE SPECIALIZED SERVICES
Our focus on meeting the “Emotional and Spiritual” needs of our residents in addition to their physical needs is at the core of the Lakeview Ranch Culture.
- 24hr awake staff in secure residential building and grounds.
- Comprehensive screening and medical assessment done by staff RN prior to admission to help assure appropriate placement.
- Extensive personal history collected in order to maximize resident abilities and provide necessary emotional support. 1-1 staffing for 3-10 days upon admission to facilitate adjustment.
- High staff ratio specifically trained in the techniques to provide Quality Specialized Dementia Care, and diffuse challenging behaviors while maintaining dignity and freedom of choice.
- Monthly ongoing staff training and support is mandatory for all employees.
- Staff RN’s, familiar with each individual resident need, are in each home 5 days per week and on call 24/7. RN accompanies all residents on medical and psychiatric appointments.
- Ongoing evaluation of disease progression, behavior issues, medication effects and co-morbid medical conditions are done between staff RN’s and medical and psychiatric physicians.
- End of life care is available to each resident, in their familiar home environment. Space available for family members to stay with their loved one during this transition.
